With no other independent coffeehouses in town, local Pittsburg residents were in need of a comfortable hangout to read, chat, and enjoy relaxing, live music. At Steeltown Coffee & Tea we combine the best cup of coffee, espresso, pastries and desserts in town, with a relaxing, comfortable, friendly atmosphere.


In addition to our commitment to great espresso, we are equally committed to protecting our planet. By carefully choosing products and vendors who are also concerned about the environment, including recycling and conservation into our daily operations, and encouraging our customers to be environmentally aware, we hope to minimize our footprint on the earth.

Purchasing from local vendors, recycling, electricity and water conservation are all key to our daily business routine. Our coffee is obtained responsibly from environmentally friendly farms and the farmers are paid a fair price for their beans. Each of our products is chosen for its its exceptional quality and low negative impact on our world.
